Srivatsan was also a ‘Campastimes’ editor at the Institute. Students can be seen seated on a table, having a discussion, possibly at the Humanities and Sciences Block.

Mardi Gras in 1983, was held in the IIT Madras campus over a period of five days, from 26January to 30 January, 1983. Participants and attendees from colleges and institutes across the country attended the cultural festival and participated in several events and competitions. The events were associated with Music, Fine Arts, Dance, Quiz and other aspects. There were also informal events and games that were conducted to engage the participants.

N S Vinodh. After completing an early education in Bangalore, N. S. Vinodh obtained his B. Tech. in Civil Engineering from IIT Madras in 1986. Being the secretary of the Photography Club at IIT Madras during his third year, he was an avid photography enthusiast. He then went on to complete his MBA from IIM, Lucknow, and later spent his career holding senior positions in the field of Corporate Real Estate with leading multinational financial services companies. He continued to pursue his hobby of photography, integrating it with his love of travel and wildlife.
