Mr. Giani Zail Singh (President of India and chief guest), addresses the audience at IIT Madras’ 20th convocation day. The function was held at the newly constructed Student Activities Centre (SAC) which was inaugurated earlier in the day.
Mr. Singh was the seventh President of India, serving his term from 1982 to 1987.
