Taken during the event held to officially hand the Siemens 7580-E Computer System to IIT Madras, this picture shows some of the guests from the Federal Republic of Germany on stage at the Central Lecture Theatre (CLT). They appear to be holding brochures which were most likely printed to provide information about the new computer system.
