The Metallurgical Engineering building was housed in the Mechanical Sciences Block (MSB) for many years. It was only toward the end of the 2010s that the major facilities were shifted to the New Academic Complex (NAC).
Album 0049 does not have a photograph of the Student Activities Centre (SAC) which was completed in 1983, but it does have a photograph of Quark, which was completed around 1980. Thus the date of the album is probably 1981 or 1982.
