This image was shot in 2012. It shows the contract security guards in the security officers’ parade during the 63rd Republic Day. At the front is Shift-in-Charge officer Balakrishnan.
The event for the Republic Day was held in front of the Administration Building. The Republic Day celebration also saw the Director reviewing the security officers’ parade, a speech by the Director and renditions of several patriotic and national songs. It was attended by faculty and staff members, residents and students.
