This photograph was taken during one of the events at Saarang, It is likely that it was taken during a music contest. Through a report in The Fourth Estate, we know that there were several music competitions held during the fest. There was Western Music, both group and solo and also Light Music with both solo and group categories. There was also an Antakshari event according to the report.
