This photograph was taken during one of the events at IIT Madras’ annual cultural fest Saarang. Through a report in The Fourth Estate, we know that there were several music competitions held during the fest. There was Western Music, both group and solo and also Light Music with both solo and group categories. There was also an Antakshari event according to the report.

It is likely that this photograph was taken during one of the music events, but we are not sure about the event taking pace. The individuals in the photograph have not been identified yet. If you have any information regarding the same, please reach out to us.
