The 2005 edition of Saarang saw numerous events such as Creative Writing, Potpourri, Crossie, Informals, Music Quiz, Sports Quiz, Business Quiz, Light Music, Western Music, Semi Classical Vocals and Extempore among others, according to the event schedule.
These events were held at different locations on campus. This particular event may have taken place in one of the newer classrooms at that time. In 2005, Saarang was held from 21-26 January.
