This photograph was taken during the Institute’s annual cultural and social fest, Saarang. In the photograph, we can see a group of girls performing a dance. It is likely that the performance was a blend of classical and contemporary dance judging by the costumes they have worn.
It is likely that this photograph was taken during Saarang’s ‘Choreo-nite’, which is a dance competition. According to a report in The Hindu, the Choreo-nite, among other events, drew the largest crowds.
