At Saarang 2003

This photograph was taken during one of the events held at Saarang. It was most likely a competition for students, but this has not been confirmed. According to a report in The Fourth Estate, there was a quiz, antakshari, dramatics, cluedo and other events. It is likely that this photograph was taken at one of the classrooms in the Institute.
The person in the white shirt is Prof. L. S. Ganesh from the Department of Management Studies. Prof. Ganesh was at IIT Madras from 1987 to 2020.
The persons seated at the table are most likely to be core members of the organizing teams, or judges for an event. We do not know who the other persons in the photograph are. If you have any information about any of the individuals, please reach out to us.
