Headbanging at Saarang, 2003

This photograph was taken during the final night of Saarang. Brahma, a thrash metal band from Mumbai headlined the rock show. The photograph shows Devraj Sanyal (vocalist, left) and John Ferns (guitarist, right) performing at the Open Air Theatre.

Rock shows were one of the most anticipated events at Saarang. Some of the biggest names in Indian and international rock music have played at Saarang. A few of the bands include Opeth, Pain of Salvation, Avial, Motherjane and Veil of Maya.
