During Saarang’s rock show in 2003, the Mumbai based thrash metallers Brahma performed at the Open Air Theatre (OAT). Sanyal was the vocalist for the band which was founded in 1993.

In this photograph, we can see Devraj Sanyal donning a Brahma t-shirt as he performs a number.

The Saarang rock night is an immensely popular show. It has seen some of the biggest names in rock and metal perform, including bands like Opeth, Pain of Salvation and Karnivool.
