Vincent Thevor (bassist, left) and John Ferns (guitarist, right) perform at the Open Air Theatre (OAT) during rock night at Saarang. They played for the band Brahma. The band formed in 1993 in Mumbai. It was one of the earliest metal bands in the country. They have performed over 500 shows across India and abroad.
Thevor started playing bass guitar in 1989. According to an article, he used to bunk school to spend time with friends and jam to The Beatles, Wham and Michael Jackson.
Ferns started playing the guitar at the age of 16. He was initially a self-taught guitarist who later took formal lessons to learn music theory. He was inspired by the likes of Joe Satriani and Steve Vai. His playing style comprises metal, rock, blues and neo-classical.
