This photograph was taken during one of the events at Saarang. It is very likely that it was taken during the dramatics contest. A report in The Fourth Estate notes that there were seven plays in total, and it was obvious which team would win. The report points out that two teams shared second place, while the Award for Best Technical Excellence went to a play which was mimed. The report notes that one of the judges pointed that the level of competition had dipped over the last four years.
