The President’s Prize was awarded to the best student of the B. Tech. Degree Course. Gurusharan S. Sidhu, who won the prize in 1967. In Vol. V, No. 4 of Campastimes (April 1967), R. K. Prakash’s humorous poem titled ‘Sidhu’ accompanied by a caricature of Sidhu, by Vasu, describes Sidhu’s academic prowess.
