A midfield battle at IIT Madras, 1994
This photograph depicts a football match that occurred during the 30th Inter-IIT Sports Meet held at IIT Madras. Regrettably, the identities of the student-athletes in the picture are unknown. The event encountered a hurdle due to heavy rainfall, which arrived after two days of seamless proceedings, as stated in IIT Madras' Annual Report of 1994. Consequently, solely indoor events could be conducted, and the rest had to be cancelled. Nevertheless, the report highlights that IIT Madras had performed commendably, earning a decent number of points until the third day of the event.
