The hosting team IIT Madras at the 30th Inter-IIT Sports Meet, 1994
The 30th Inter-IIT Sports Meet was washed out due to rains after the first two days. According to IIT Madras' Annual Report of 1994, the hosts were doing extremely well in the events before rains played spoilsport. The indoor games were unaffected by the rains whereas the outdoor events could not be conducted.
