This image was taken during the 30th Inter-IIT Sports Meet in 1994. IIT Madras hosted the meet in this year. Ramesh Krishnan, the Indian tennis ace, was the chief guest during this event.
It is likely that the gentleman seated in the first row (in a blue shirt and sunglasses) is Prof. V. S. Raju (Ocean Engineering Department).
