This photograph shows Prof. N. V. C. Swamy (Director, seated in the first row, extreme left) and Mr. Ramesh Krishnan (Indian tennis player, seated next to Prof. Swamy) at the Manohar C. Watsa Stadium at IIT Madras. Mr. Krishnan was the chief guest at the opening ceremony of IIT Madras. The person to the extreme right is Prof. P. Srinivasa Rao (Dean of Students). Identification by (Retd.) Prof. Santhakumar Sundaram (Aerospace Engineering Department).
