A goalkeeper saves a goal, 1994
This photograph was taken during a football match at IIT Madras. The occasion was the 30th Inter-IIT Sports Meet. The identities of the student-athletes in the picture remain unknown. According to IIT Madras' Annual Report of 1994, the event encountered a setback due to heavy rainfall, following two days of smooth proceedings. As a result, only the indoor events could be conducted, and the remaining ones had to be cancelled. Despite this setback, the report notes that IIT Madras had performed well, earning a respectable number of points up until the third day.
