This photograph captures a moment from the 30th Inter-IIT Sports Meet, however, the identities of the student-athletes remain unknown. The event was not without its challenges, as heavy rainfall disrupted proceedings after two days of smooth competition. Consequently, only indoor events were able to take place, while the remaining outdoor events had to be cancelled. Despite this setback, the IIT Madras team managed to earn a respectable number of points up until the third day, as noted in their Annual Report of 1994.
