The person behind the chief guest is Mr. Surjit S Randhava and the gentleman in the suit behind the awardee is Mr. Srinivasan (PTI). Identification by Mr. K. Narayanan, Mr. C. V. The chief guest, Dr. P. Subbarayan distributed a number of prizes to students and faculty members at the Third Institute Day. The Institute Day of IIT Madras is a day marked to celebrate the hard work and success of people who have shown excellence in academics as well as extracurricular activities.
