This photograph was taken in the Green Room behind the Open Air Theatre (OAT) stage with Prof. Ajit Kumar Kolar (Dean, Cultural) after one of the Professional Shows of Mardi Gras 1995.
1995 was the last year that the IIT Madras Cultural Festival was called so. It is now known as Saarang. This edition of Mardi Gras was held from January 24-29 in 1995. The brochure for that year names the theme of Mardi Gras as "Back with a bang!" with programmes across the categories of literary, debating, arts, musical and informal events.
