Maya Illusion is a compilation of poems by Maya Sosha Anand. The poet passed away at a very young age in 2002. The book was kindly presented to the Heritage Centre by her parents, Anand Samuel and Preetha Anand. The late Mr Thomas Tharu, an alumnus of the 1969 batch who wrote under the pen name Tee Square played an important role in having this collection of poetry published. Prof. Elizabeth N. Mr. Pratap Subrahmanyam (1985 batch alumnus) visited the Heritage Centre on 27 April 2023 on occasion of his visit to the campus for the inauguration of the 'Veena and Pratap Subrahmanyam Centre for Digital Intelligence, Security Hardware and Architecture' (V & PS - CDISHA).

Mrs. P. T. Manoharan is the wife of the late Prof. P. T. Manoharan, a distinguished chemist of international acclaim. Mrs. Manoharan visited the Heritage Centre on 19 April 2023.
