  This photograph shows a band in the middle of their performance during Decibels 2005. A Saarang event, Decibels, is comprised of bands competing against each other. In this image, members of a band are seen performing together.  At the back of the stage, the banners announce the names of Saarang and Decibels 2005, with the words Light Music and Nokia on them. Nokia was the main sponsor for Saarang 2005. This iteration of Saarang was conducted from 21 to 26 January 2005.

A large model of the campus was created in the early years of the Institute. We know that it was on display in the foyer of the Building Sciences Block. The Heritage Centre has several photographs in which the model is visible. The 3D model is unfortunately no longer available.  Dr. Pauling, the American scientist won the Nobel Prize (in Chemistry in 1954 and the Peace Prize in 1962).
