A large audience is seen seated during the 13th convocation which took place at the Open Air Theatre during the year 1976. Among the audience, distinguished German guests are seen to be seated in the front row.   Over the years the procedure of the convocation ceremonies has seen several changes and transformations. For instance, the venue of the convocations has been the Open Air Theatre (OAT) at the Institute during the early years as its space and capacity was vast, enough to house around 7000 guests.
