This photograph was taken during Saarang. Plenty of music groups and bands performed at Saarang during contests, competitions and programmes. We are not sure who the performers in the photograph are, but we do know that the performers, except the vocalist in the picture, performed along with the singer Shaan later on in the evening. Through a report in The Fourth Estate, we know that Shaan arrived an hour late due to some reason, so it is likely that this performance was done to keep the audience engaged until Shaan arrived.
