This image was shot during the 26th Convocation of IIT Madras. In this photograph, Mr. Russi Mody is being helped with his convocation robes. Mr. Russi Mody was the chief guest for the 26th Convocation and was also the then Chairman and Managing Director of Tata Iron and Steel Co. Ltd. (now known as Tata Steel Limited). In the background, a gentleman helps with Mr. A. L. Mudaliar’s (Chairman, Board of Governors) convocation robes.
