The camera has captured a close-up photograph of an audience member at the Open Air Theatre (OAT). Events held in the Open Air Theatre included the professional shows: such as the Rock Show, Jazz Show, Light Music, Classical Music Night in 2005. Other events held in the Open Air Theatre included Decibels and Choreo Nite.

A wide variety of events and competitions were conducted during Saarang in 2005 across several venues on the IIT Madras campus: Music, Dance, Quiz, Debate, Antakshari, Fine Arts, Extempore, etc., according to the schedule of events from 2005.
