A Light Music group performs during Saarang 2005

6 participants are seen as they take part in the group Light Music competition during Saarang 2005. The keyboard used in the performance is a model from Korg. Perhaps this photograph captured a microphone testing, as one of the participants is using the microphone and none of the others seem to be singing and instead appear to be listening to something offstage.

There were several music competitions that took place over the 6 days that Saarang was held for in 2005. These events included several in music such as Western Music Solo, Western Music Group, Light Music Solo, Light Music group, Semi Classical Vocals and Antakshari. This edition of Saarang was held from 21 to 26 January 2005.
