A participant strums the guitar in this photograph. The guitar has the name “Dream Theater” and “DT” on it: Dream Theater is an American progressive metal band. The photographed event is one of the solo music events that took place during Saarang.

There were also group events in Light Music and Western Music. After a preliminary round, selected participants would have a final round where winners would be chosen. All these events till date, take place across different venues in IIT Madras. This edition of Saarang was was held from 21 to 26 January 2005.
