This photograph shows two students taking part in a Saarang Music competition round. In the photograph, one student is playing the guitar whereas the other student is singing into a microphone. This photograph may have been taken at a Solo competition with another person accompanying with guitar.

According to the event schedule of the 2005 edition of Saarang, some of the Music events that year were: Western Music Solo, Western Music Group, Light Music Solo, Light Music group, Semi Classical Vocals and Antakshari. This edition of Saarang took place from 21 to 26 January 2005.
