In this photograph, a participant is seen playing the guitar. This event may have been one of the solo music events that took place during Saarang. There were also group events in Light Music and Western Music.

After a preliminary round, selected participants would have a final round where winners would be chosen. All these events till date take place across different venues on campus. In 2005, Saarang was held from 21 to 26 January.
