This photograph shows a participant at a microphone, holding a sheet of paper which may have been for reference. Behind the participant, the name of the cultural festival is written in chalk on a blackboard: “Saarang - 2005.”
It is not known whether this photograph is of a Singing or Speaking event as there were numerous kinds of events held during Saarang. Some of these events were: Quiz, Potpourri, Extempore, Informals, Creative Writing, Debate, Fine Arts, Semi Classical Vocals, Radio Play and Crossie, Light Music, Western Music, Elocution, live professional music shows and workshops. This edition of Saarang was held from 21 to 26 January 2005.
