This image was captured during the 30th Convocation at IIT Madras. The image features a young woman, most likely an undergraduate student, about to receive her degree from the Director of the Institute. Through the Annual Report of IIT Madras 1993, we know that a total of 751 degrees were handed out on this day.
The girl in the photograph is yet to be identified.
