This photograph was most likely taken during the opening night of Saarang. According to a report in The Hindu, the singer Shaan performed on opening night with an exciting performance. The report also makes note of the fact that the crowd turnout was larger compared to the previous year. It also mentions that the singer Shaan had a sore throat, and he was unable to “hit all his high notes”. However, the performance lasted two and a half hours and kept the crowd on their feet.
