A student receives a prize, 1994
This photograph was taken during the 30th Inter-IIT Sports Meet at IIT Madras. It features Prof. Y. Narayana Rao (Dean of Administration) giving away the prize and a student who is yet to be identified.
As per the 1994 Annual Report of IIT Madras, the initial two days of the event proceeded smoothly. Unfortunately, heavy rains impeded outdoor activities from taking place. Nonetheless, indoor games like basketball, volleyball, table tennis, badminton, and weightlifting continued as planned at the Student Activities Centre and the old badminton court.
