This photograph was taken during one of the events at Saarang. Saarang is known for its wide range of events which attracts college students from across the country. Some of these events included design contests, quizzes and dramatics.
The student in the photograph is Ameeth Thomas. The T-shirt he is wearing is from the cultural fest of St. Thomas’s Hall, Madras Christian College. The fest is called ‘Utsav’ and it features an inter-collegiate dance competition and music shows by professional musicians. Ameeth has his own band called Junkyard Groove. He performed with his band at Saarang 2007.
