An athlete at a throw event, 1999
This image was captured during the 35th Inter-IIT Sports Meet at IIT Madras. It is likely that the picture was taken during the discus throw event. The throwing circle is a prominent and defining feature of the event. In this photograph, we can see the athlete standing in a circle which resembles the throwing circle. The student is yet to be identified.
