Columns outside a hall building, distinct from those in the Water Hall.

Campus Facilities

This photograph shows columns of relatively small size, located outside a hall building. Based on recollections, these do not pertain to the Water Hall, where the columns were significantly larger as they had to support both the roof and a five‑tonne overhead travelling crane. The difference in scale suggests that this excavation and its columns were part of another structure, separate from the Water Hall.

The information for this photograph was provided by Prof. Kumaraswamy S., a retired faculty member from the Department of Mechanical Engineering.
