This photograph was taken during a special convocation held to confer the degree of Doctor of Science (honoris causa) on Dr. Richard von Weizsäcker who was the President of the Federal Republic of Germany.
As seen in the picture, Prof. V. S. Raju (Ocean Engineering Department, extreme right) and Prof. M. Ravindran (Head of Ocean Engineering Department, second from right). The other persons in the photograph are yet to be identified.
