Dr. Weizsäcker visited IIT Madras to receive his honorary degree of Doctor of Science (honoris causa) at the Student Activities Centre (SAC). He also visited some of the departments one of which was the Ocean Engineering Department.

V. C. Swamy (Director, second from right) and Prof. M. Ravindran (Head of Ocean Engineering Department, extreme right). The other persons in the photograph are yet to be identified.
