An ecstatic IIT Madras team lifts a trophy, 1999
It is a well-known fact that IIT Madras has won the General Championship trophy at the Inter-IIT Sports Meet the highest number of times. According to Wikipedia, IIT Madras has won the championship a total of 23 times so far (as of October 2023).
We are yet to identify the students in the photograph. We are not sure which trophy is featured in this image.
