In 2005, Saarang was held from 21 to 26 January. Events in music, debate, quiz, dance, painting, etc. were held. Apart from this, there were other events that were conducted. This image is of an event which was held at a location between the Humanities and Sciences Block (HSB) and the Open Air Theatre (OAT).
In the photograph, two students are holding a microphone and one of them is speaking, sitting on a table on the stage while everybody in the photograph looks off camera to a person or people not featured in the photograph. Behind them, the banner for the event says “Curls just wanna have fun,” a tagline for Sunsilk’s shampoo. Sunsilk was one of the co-sponsors for Saarang.
