Matmatah makes music in genres such as folk and rock. Their latest album at the time was Archie Kramer (2004) following which they went on a  world tour in the end of October that year. The current members of Matmatah are Tristan Nihouarn (Stan), Éric Digaire (Éric), Benoît Fournier (Scholl) and Manu Baroux. Former members were Cédric Floc'h (Sammy) and Jean-François Paillard (Fanch).

Saarang 2005 was held from 21 to 26 January 2005, and invited people to its various competitions ranging from music and dance to quiz and debate. Many of these events were individual or group events.
