'Fusion Nite' at Saarang 2000

The ‘Fusion Nite’ event was held on 23rd January 2000 and for the first time Saarang featured artists of international fame and brought down artists all the way from the USA. At the event the audience was treated with a blend of Carnatic and Jazz music performed by the band ‘Millenium Z’. The band comprised three members: Mr. Prasanna (an ex IITian) on the guitar and vox, Kenwood Dennard on the drums and keyboard and Alponso Johnson on the bass. The highlight of the event was undoubtedly the one man orchestra put up by Kenwood Dennard while singing and playing the drums and keyboard.
