The photograph shows Mr. Hans Klein (Minister for Economic Co-operation, Federal Republic of Germany, fifth from right), Dr. Konrad Seitz (Ambassador, Federal Republic of Germany, fourth from right) and Mrs. Eva Seitz (second from right). Mr. Klein and Dr. Seitz visited the Institute in order to officially gift the Siemens 7580-E Computer System to IIT Madras on behalf of the Federal Republic of Germany.
