This photograph shows Mr. Hans Klein and Dr. Konrad Seitz at IIT Madras. They visited the Institute in order to officially hand over the Siemens 7580-E Computer System from the Federal Republic of Germany. The computer was a gift from the German Government given to IIT Madras under the Indo-German Agreement.
In the photograph, we can see Mr. Hans Klein (Minister for Economic Co-operation, Federal Republic of Germany, in brown shirt) and Dr. Konrad Seitz (Ambassador, Federal Republic of Germany, wearing sunglasses). The other persons in the photograph are yet to be identified.
