Saarang 2005 was held for 6 days from 21 to 26 January 2005. Numerous events and competitions were conducted including the Rock Show. The attendance at professional shows that year was very high.

Though not visible from this photograph, the Rock Show was held at the Open Air Theatre (OAT) like all professional shows, making use of the immense audience capacity of the Open Air Theatre.
