This particular image shows a section of the dais where at the front, are seated Mr. A. L. Mudaliar (Chairman, Board of Governors) and Mr. Russi Mody (Chairman, Tata Iron and Steel Co. Ltd., now Tata Steel Limited) who was the chief guest for the ceremony. The distinguished guests are seated on the dais, wearing their convocation robes.
